Re: Spark plugs

I've got a set of denso Irridiums due to arrive tomorrow morning and I'll put them in tomorrow night. They came highly recommended.
I'll let you know of any gain tomorrow night if all goes well...

Re: Spark plugs

I found NGK Iridiums great. Expensive but when you consider they last so much longer than standard plugs IMO they are worth it.

Re: Spark plugs

I think I'm getting them for around the $120 but I havent spoken to my mate again since Friday so i am unsure if they are the Denso Iridium Power plugs (20,000km lifespan) or the Denso Iridium long life (160,000kms)

If they sound like some thing you'd be interested in for that price Tom let me know. I'll tell you what i think of them Tomorrow arvo if they come in on time...

Re: Spark plugs

YES please! I am looking at that sort of price for the set of NGK's. A pic of the plug would be great if you got your digital camera handy?!?!

Thanks Mate

Re: Spark plugs

Just priced the NGK Iridiums... $19.30 each at Super Cheap Auto. Have ordered a set and should get them in next weekend.

Also whilst we are on the subject of spark. Is there any benifit to be had from ditching the stock coil packs and replacing them for MSD packs

Re: Spark plugs

I wouldn't worry about moving away from the standard coil packs... not unless you are going to stroke it.

Yep, I actually picked up the NGKs for $12 each through a relative in the auto parts game. As a comparison the cheapest I could find retail in Brissy was the $19.30... just goes to show how much it can pay to shop around or have good contacts.
