Gday wondering if any one can help me.
ive had this problem for a little while where the starter motor was turning over fairly slowly compared to normal.
my day started out allright. i was heading to LTDHO's to give him some money i had owed him.
left geelong headding to melbourne, i had to get some go juice. filled up, paid get in car to leave................starter motor crapped itself
after sitting ther for a while trying to start....to get click click, i thought i'd try the "bash starter with lenth of steel pipe" trick, which worked.
anyhows got it going continued onto LTD's place, was there for a while so i turned off. went to go home and it did it again.
anywayz cutting a long story short. he gave me an almost new one he had for a verry reasonable price.....thanks again mate
my question is this....... how do i go about replacing it..... anything special i should do? any special way to line it up or anything?
i'll be grateful for any replies... i would love to be able to start my car without having to bash the starter motor
end note..... im glad i didnt take my levelride bars out of the car else i wouldnt have had any bashing tools tehehe
