Hey having problems trying to start my new stroker. First time went to start it got a couple of slow turns then drained the battery (battery had been sitting there for about 12 months then charged the other day) tried jumpstarting it got a few more turns n nearly fired but died again. Went away for about an hour n now it wont even turn, dont even get the 'click' sound at the starter only at the relay. Ive taken the starter out and applied a current through it and the gear jumps out but does not spin, any ideas? Basically will i need a new starter?

Does it have a internal or external voltage regulator? Could be that. Could be the timing too. Could be a weak battery too.
