I have just purchased a forged Eagle stroker kit (4340 forged crank, H beam rods - forged pistons).
I was just wondering who was using this (and other) stroker kits ?
What you thought of the quality of the equipment?
How well did it ballance up?
What sort of RWKw you were acheiving?
What main stud girdle did you use?
Any information will be appreciated...
regards,
Shane

The 2 drag racers addages
1. If you are in control - you haven't got enough Horse Power...
2. If you throw it up in the air and it comes down - It's too heavy...
My Toys:
1998 NL FBT 033, Blue
1996 NL V8 Fairlane Ghia, YBESLO White, Grey trim, 16" V5 Simmons, LOW
Squeezed is nice, stroked is good, blown is unbeliveable - but all 3 is heaven
you can get more out of 24lb injs if you have an adj fuel press reg, but as svo said he is running his right on the limit @ 92% duty cycle. those figures you gave are only estimates.
My combo is Dart 6.2 " block, Scat 3.25 4320 forged steel crank,Oliver rods, C.P pistons
The Dart block is 4 bolt on all mains, requires a custom sump due to 5 X4 bolt mains caps..No mains girdle is required... Said to handle 2500 h.p Good oil gallery system..
Oliver rods full floating are one of the best as they are used on V8 supercars, light and strong 600 grams...
C.P pistons are relativley new but take my word they are good pistons ..Used in Nascar etc.Have the ability to run tight clearances at over 1000+ h.p ...Making them ideal for street ...
Motor is internally ballanced with alittle mallory on counterweights..Original 5 Ltrs are 50 Oz[earlier non roller is 27 Oz] externaly ballanced to correct out of ballance inside...
