just want to know if it is worth supercharging my windsor and if anyone knows a good place in brisbane to get it done. what are your thoughts?

pm Hoppy from the Forums. He's supercharged his 5.0 NC... Looks, sounds and goes great. He used Zero Limits Performance (3823 4351). On his recommendation, I took my 351 there for a rebuild, and am (so far) pretty happy with the work, despite some minor hiccups.

92 DC..... depending on how wild you want to go, the blowers are fairly easy to fit yourself. Just order the kit from CAPA and away you go....

I fitted a powerdyne to mine over a couple of weekends and a few nights after work - and im not much of a mechanic. Its not huge kw (thanks to standard heads and manifold) but torque is there from the start. Vortech would be just as easy if you are capable of tapping the oil return line.

Imo ANY forced induction is worth it..Just make sure other things are up to it especially fuel..

IMO forced induction offers the best bang for $$$$. The basic powerdyne systems from CAPA don't give huge power increases (around 60-80rwkw) because they only run 8psi boost but the torque increase is great. If you go a bit further and get a Vortech setup then you can wind the boost up a bit more but as ebxr8240 said make sure your fuel system is able to cope. IMO anything more than the 8psi powerdyne kit really needs larger injectors, fuel pump etc. and aftermarket computer system.
