The only difference between a cleveland and a 351w dizzy is the gear, i have a cleveland Accel billet dizzy in my 351w. All i did was change the dizzy gear for a 302 windsor one.

Yeah? I tried a 302 windsor dissy in mine, but the 351 oil pump shaft was bigger than the socket in the dissy shaft. Can anyone else confirm this? What about the dissy shaft diameter? there are 2 clevo sizes, which one is the windsor?
Thanks

Most quality billet dizzys have needle roller bearings at the top and bottom of the housing to support the shaft, so it doesnt matter if the dizzy shaft is not supported in the block. This only matters if you are using a dizzy that only has a bearing at the top of the housing like the crappy factory dizzys. The two billet dizzys that i have used have been the small shaft(.490") size in a block with the larger sized hole(.500"). I have been running them like this for many years now and not had problem. But the dizzy must have a bearing in the bottom of the housing to do this.

I believe the MSD Pro Billet has a bush in the lower end of the housing :(
Does anyone know for sure?
