ive seen about 30 different mobs who offer 5.6L crate engines from the states where they all offer decent power in excess of 450hp they all lack the torque of the aussie built 5.6L how did tickford get 500nm of torque and these other motors are only making 400nm, i know its not only high power that makes a good motor torque is very important to.

Dont know but my T3 will pull a house down from as little as 900RPM and dont give up till it hits the rev cutout!!

They are making power and loosing some torque in the prossess.. Our fuel is slightly better imo...Cal. esp..
Add a blower or turbo and you'll find 400 nm is nothing !!!!

Are you sure they only make 400NM?? Converting from ft/lb's torque to NM is different to Bhp to Kw. My car makes almost 400Nm torque, and it's stock.

Otherwise you can get the motor changed, or have one built to your specs.

im sure you'll find the camshaft profile heaps different.

The 5.6L intake manifold was aussie designed for that application also

yep i stuffed up it is 450hp and 425ft/lb's so what does this equate to in nm, oh and by the way simple question here how do i convert us dollars to aus and does anyone know the rate is it 60 or 70 now
