I have a 351W in a 1973 LTD and the timing chain gear made of the cheap material disintgrated and I need a new chain and gears. Should I replace them with stock items, or is there something better? The engine only has 98,000 miles on it and I would like to get more than that out of it the second time around. JB

Yes there is something better. Crow do a good timing set for them

Thanks for the info. Is there a certian place to get them or will Napa or Autozone or Jegs or Summit, etc. have them? JB
