Ebay sell some timing covers for the 302w, between $130-$180.
Can't go wrong there.

Re: timming cover any alteratives than ford?

Killkeny castings make a repro front timing case cover - my price trade was around $400 8 months ago when I was looking. You must make sure you are getting the right timing case cover as there are quite a few different ones. Ours have no fuel pump boss on them and no provision for the dipstick. The AU one is different to the EB/EL ones.
I had mine welded up and a coating put on it to stop it corroding again - the total price was $150
http://groups.msn.com/LandauLTDhaven...oto&PhotoID=84 - the timing case cover beadblasted and welded
http://groups.msn.com/LandauLTDhaven...oto&PhotoID=88 - The timing case cover has been coated (all the way down to the block water passages

Tis the wrong one for the EB-EL series though - it is a pre 94 mustanf EFI one in the picture - our uses the smaller 94-95 waterpump. Ours look like this (this is the repaired and coated one)
