Does anyone know from which year the best flowing 302 EFI manifold came from (Factory). I need one to go a top my 351 EFI manifold, Only needs to flow 230Kw @ engine.
Also, what sized exhaust system would I need for a 351ci Windsor, pumping out 230Kw @ engine? It is going in to a 3in lowered EB falcon, so I dont think that a twin system is possible.
Doesn't the 351w need different manifolds compared with the 302w, the deck heights are taller so the lower would probably need to be wider, the uppers are probably the same though. As for exaust, a single 3" would be fine IMO
Mate, a GT40, or an Explorer, on a 351 lower would do the trick
Great, thanks a lot mate, will hunt one down at the wreckers, now all I need is a fuel rail.....?
EDXR8,
thanks, yes you are right the deck height is larger, I have a 351 EFI lower already, I think you could be spot on about the 3in exhaust, Just have to find some extractors to fit that wide bugger!

Are the lower ports all in line or staggered. I would imagine the 351w would probably be staggered which will mate up with the explorer or GT40 manifolds, but just check because the base 302w inlet are all in-line and then you only have the option of the crappy HO manifold.
I would think custom extractors or factory style shorty type headers would be your only option.
depending most of the f-series efi 351's lower were very similar to the holley systemax, rectangular runners, with the end ones being a little skew wiff.
Well, I pick the manifold up on monday (as well as Bosch 040, timing cover, flexplate and harmonic ballancer). So as soon as I get it I will head down to the wreckers to check out what will fit, hopefully I will have more options than the HO.
Even though it is rev limited to 4750-5000rpm and has only 220-230fwKw's I should get off the line pretty well with all that torque and power down low hey?????????
