Question V8 302 Windsor or Clevland

My mate has V8 in his b/yard. Now i know its a 302 cuz it came out of a zl fairlane. and the previous owner told me. Is there a way to measure the actual block to tell whether its a windsor or clevland.??? or sumthen that distinguishes a clevland from a windsor

quick way i look at is the rocker covers on clevo have a flat section where breather sits also the water neck on clevo sits on the block a windsor is bolted to the inlet manifold

Firstly the ZL never had a V8 from the factory.

Seconly. Easy way to pick the difference between a 302 Wind's and a 302 Clevo is the themostate housing (as previously said)
