ay guys a few questions re my valvetrain...
ive just bolted a set of hot heads to my motor but now my valvetrain geometry is out,the rockers (stock floating cast type on screw in studs not pressed steel) are riding on the valve 40-60 thou towards the centre or back of the rocker how do i get the rockers back in centre of the valve?

Get hold of an adjustable pushrod , put in motor adjust to desired position take back out & measure or take to any decent performace shop to get some made up. Bit more expensive but saves on valve guide wear.

STOP don't go any further!!!!!!

Piss those pushrods off and get dome hardened pushrods before you put steel fileing through engine...THe std pushrods are not designed to run against guide plates as you have stud mount rockers....
Get correct length pushrods...
