Whilst cleaning my bare block i noticed some pins or rods that run the length of the bore. I can see them through the water jackets and there is 6 in total, 3 each side. what are they for? and are they factory fit ot has someone put them there? On the head face you can see 3 circles of a different colour, that's the top of them. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Normal for most blocks, are leftovers form the casting process. have a 1963 390 in shop at mo with same deal, some blocks have lots some have none!
