Wanting to do up the motor, after a lot of bullshitting around my brother went to see Mick Webb and this is what he's suggested..

75mm throttle body
AU style intake manifold
Camshaft
GT40-P Heads - big valves and ported
Roller Rockers - 1.73 ratio
Gaskets

He said I should get about 260kw out of it and it'll cost me almost $6,000.

Told to run AU thermo fans, was suggested.

Does it sound alright? I know what I'm thinking

but just want to get some opinions from different people before I make up my mind and what I want to do. Thanks.

Sounds about right...
Street Machine Magazine did an article last year on getting the most out of EFI windsors... And what Mick has suggested sounds a lot like what the article said.

nice! but you can do better with the heads/manifold..i.e. trickflow, but then thats more $$$..

BPT makes a good thermo wiring loom aswell, so thats an easy upgrade. but that in it self works out to about $700 or so all up.

260kw seems a bit of an over estimation for that gear. i think the injectors are hitting the wall about then, aswell as a few other bits(like the tiny maf)

but yeh sounds good. mick webb is a pretty reputable name so ya cant go wrong. damn this WA mod shop desert!

Depends what you want?? I see ported heads so if you are going to all that trouble and expence then yes cam..But for mild as in leaving heads as they are GTp's & std cam 1.72 r/rockers as he said and consider better maf as std maf is only 55mm..Good extractors infront of that 3" mandrel bent exh if not already...
To go higher spec imo with ported heads you'd need 24/ 30 Lp injectors and calld maf to suit...Or atleast to make full advantage of what's been done...

Sounds good,
I would go for GT-40X's if money allowed to, mainly for the weight advantage, and an AU MAF.

As already said, I hope he also planned a larger MAF and bigger injectors otherwise 260kw's is a bit of an ask. I also wonder why he is suggesting a 75mm throttle body. 65mm is generally regarded as the best option for NA engines, 75 will require modification to the manifold as it only has a 70mm opening and will probably loose a bit of low down power. Power of around 260kw's is possible but that would really depend on the cam he is planning on using.

He said the injectors are ok because they are 19lb, the manifold has been modified to suit the throttle body and he has made 260kw with this system.
