Does anyone know what heads were on Series 2 xr8 185kw engines, i rang ford today and they said there was 3 different heads for EL. There was the EL GT, The 185kw heads and the standard 165kw heads all of them have different part numbers, can anyone tell me what the difference was, the AU's had Gt40's could the 185kw EL'S have GT40's as well

Heads are stock E7's as fitted to all V8 falcons (except GT/Sprint). Lots of people say they are GT40P's or GT40's but they are not. EL GT's ran GT40 heads. and as far as I am aware there was no difference between the 165kw and 185kw heads. AU's had GT40P's.
