Hello. What lower inlet manifold does the 220KW AU III XR8 use? Is it GT40? Is GT40 the same as Explorer?

GT40, Cobra and Explorer all use the same lower manifold. There are a couple of differences in EGR and IAT ports but they are all the same casting with the same flow.

I thnk its a GT40 manifold. I think the Sprint used the Cobra manifold.

Hmm not 100% right...
The Gt 40 is the tubular top..[E.L GT ?]
The Sprint used up the experimental manifolds Ford had lying around at the time..Very similar to Cobra, but didn't have EGR in casting as Cobra and had coolant through it where Cobra's didn't ...
Flow rates did vary alittle...
Bassically the same..If your going to port them, port the lower.Especially 1 and 5 ports....

I want to fit a Kenne Bell supercharger so i suppose as long as the lower casting and port positions are the same throughout the three types i should be right hey?
