How much bigger can i/should i go?

looks like the std 58mm, wouldn't go much bigger than a 65mm for a std or mildly modded motor.

I'm modding the engine.. I have got a 70mm MAF on order, and i want a bigger throttle body as well.. 70mm Maf and 68mm TB be a good combination for an engine that will end up having GT40P Heads, 1.6 Roller Rockers and a Crane Cam 2030?

a std au 65mm tb would work well with that combo, is yours a series 2 el?

Get an Edelbrock/BBK 65 or 70mm throttle body, much better quality thatn the AU 65mm TB's out there and bolt on much easier. The 70mm will give you a few more kw, but will loose you some throttle response.

They are listed at $470 for the 65mm and $500 for the 70mm although I got my 70mm one for around $350 on special from VPW a while ago. You will also need a larger EGR plate to suit which are about $150.
