Wondering what spark plugs everyone is using on alloy headed windsors?
Tried to start my new engine for the first time today and she'll fire but won't run. Seems to be overfuelling, maybe too cold a plug. I'm using NGK BCPR7ES-11.

There's no standard plug for all alloy heads. What type of head are you running?

I'm using Pro Topline 180cc heads. Engine specs are as follows:
mexican block bored 30 thou
347 stroker kit
10.6 compression
294s comp cam
main girdle, screw in studs
high energy pan
pro topline alloy heads, 180cc intake
2.08 intake, 1.6 exhaust valves
torker inlet, match ported
pacemaker 4 into 1 extractors, 1 5/8 primaries
750 mighty demon carb
msd 6al, billet dizzy, coil and leads
c4 stage 2 shift kit, currently no stall
3.7 lsd nine inch
twin 2 inch exhaust
holley blue pump and 1/2 inch lines from tank to carb

7's are way too cold. Try some 5's.

6. What spark plugs work on these heads? (Seat, thread, reach, etc.?)

Flat gasket thread is 14 x 1.25mm ¾” reach recommended retracted tip. Typical heat range and plug part # for a 13:1 compression engine is a Champion C57C 14:1 compression C55C. Iron lightning uses a V57C or V55C 14 x 1.25mm threaded short reach.
