eagle stroker kit done to 347 with the je pistons, and manley h beam rods (its the top of the line stroker,not the base with keith black pistons and all that crap) trick flow track heat heads just out box, trick flow tfs R intake, bennett custom blower cam,compression is set up for blower # 8:5:1 with these heads. has mac headers that will come with it and king cobra clutch. also has 1.70 rockers,hardened push rods and everything has 1300 miles. no problems AT ALL. will NOT remove motor until buyer drives it and gives the ok.
Just wondering what this setup would be worth.

sounds like something you've found on a forum in america..... with mac headers etc.

freight would be a killer to come from the states.... unless it's coming over in a car....

Yea saw in in the states and was just wondering what it would be worth bloke wants 4000 us and is neg on it. He parted out the parts list and they came to $9200 i think. Just trying to comapre what they would charge for somthing like that here.

parts are so cheap in the states.... just look at some of the american mustang specialists like www.ampperformance.com or from www.summit.com

I've noticed that basically every performance shop has the same prices within 5 dollars no matter where in the states they are.... looking at classifieds in mustang monthly, muscle mustangs etc. Occasionally you do get specials come up though.....

I have also seen on ebay 86 - 91 Fox body mustangs with big dollar motors/suspension setup for drags go cheap.... like 5-6k US... even thought about bringing one back for me, pulling the donk, replacing with my HO motor and sell the car off here...... maybe at a tidy profit.....

You need to get somebody thats bringing back a container, and get them to stuff the engine in there for you, or bring a whole car back yourself..... freight would kill you for just a motor through a carrying company.. not worth the exercise....

Thats just my 2c anyway.....

My similar engine cost me about $20k to build.

But i'd reconsider if i were you. Apparently stock TE50's make much more power. I'd be inclinded to search for one at the wreckers.

Yea but that motor only ran that n/a it c/ratio is 8.5:1 so 320 aint to bad. It put out 320rwhp wick is 240rwkw a standard t3 te50 aint gonna do that. This thing should be good for 800hp when boosted. I get muscle mustang's every month and your right high hp second hand cars are cheap there as well as parts. I remember being told when i wanted to build up my ef xr8 to run low 11's that i'd have to have an auto no manual would cope, you can buy a 1000+hp capable tremac new from a shop over there for just 1700 us so 3 grand shipped here.

A toploader will hold off 700hp and 9 second ETs. After many years, the gearbox in my car was the only thing that did NOT break. Everything else at one time or another, did...

x2c motorsports has NEVER had a gearbox sent back or replaced one to date, due to parts failure. Now thats pretty dam good. Reccord holde's of the wrolds fastest trmac car 7.88sec.

My Dart block hasn't cost me that much and I hope its alot stronger..
The only Ford parts on it are water pump, lifters,dissy, fuel rail, oil cap..
