i put a ED XR8 motor into my eb... wasnt hard at all... just had to change the cross members and mounts... that was it if memory serves me right... had a bit of a headache with the looms...
i didnt want a EB motor cause they didnt have much grunt... well the ED had only 165KW up 10KW or so from the EA's and EB (might be wrong about the EB's)... but something was better than nothing... also be careful to make sure that what you are buying isnt HOT (unless that doesnt bother you) cause come blue slip time, you might have some trouble (again, unless you know someone)...
but at $500 bucks thats a steal!! I paid $6100 for the V8 and gearbox and all the little parts... and after all that i have to let her go now...
