Hi guys, I'm intrested to know wat u guys think.
I want a blown xg falcon ute, injected wif heaps of torque.
I was thinking of 2 ways this can b achieved. I can get a stock 302 out of an eb stroke it throw on a vortech and put some chi's on it. a motech system and some thirsty injectors and all the other trimmings. however no matter how much torque i build into it theres no substitution for cubes.
so maybe I do 4 the 351 windsor out of a later model f-truck and stroke that and bolt on the goodies, but will it fit with a factory bonnet and a set of 4 into 1's
then theres the last option of just getting an xf and and doing the same but with a clevo coz I know they fit, giv the thing a facelift I've got to start the injection system form scratch, fuel rails, sensor positioning etc??
I'm obviously quite bored, and I'm sik of these holdens if their cubes!! I guess we make em sound good!

The 351 is 70mm higher.You can fit bonnet bulge / mill lower inlet etc or use spider inlet but you'd loose some low end torque with them...Bonnet scoop or bulge sonds the goods...

Id combine two of those ideas and 351 with a PD blower on it, youll need a hardcore bulge for that puppy lol.

so is that a 351 windsor u reackon?? I iknow their lighter and that will suit the ute, I can live with a ba style bonnet bulge I'm only concerned about the clearance between the headers and suspension towers now will either 351 fit or stick wif the windsor. It'll be easier to stick wif the windsor howeva, I know the 302w and 351w heads are the same so that means a 302 eb fuel rail should fit but what could i find a complete injected stock 351w in?? we only brought out 351w in xw I think, but it was carb and then theres too much mucking around involved.
seeing as though I stroking it and slapping alloy heads on it price wise it mite be cheaper gettin something from the states cos I'm just using the block, ignition and injection setup, 2nd hand crater perhaps??
