Hi I have a eb xr8 in a month or so i should have around $2500 just wanting to know what engine mods I should do with this cash. I have a few ideas but wanted to see what you's recon I allready have a set of pacemaker extractors 2 high flow cats twin 2 1/2 inch exhaust.

Sorry if this has been posted before but i find it hard using that search.

Has been brought up many times before, just browse through the pages. Start with the simple mods like a k&N air filter and larger EL XR8 snorkle, then change the stock fan to some EL type thermo fans. After that I would be upgrading the intake to an AU explorer or Edelbrock one along with a set of 1.72 ratio roller rockers. Depending on how much you have left, I would either do a diff ratio upgrade to a 3.7 ratio or upgrade the heads. You can get a set of GT40P heads from the AU's for just over $1000.

Yes exhaust system is usually the first mod you make. Get the thing to breathe as best you can like what EDXR8 said. Then intake and heads would be the next best option. Anything more will cost extra!
