Howdy all,
I just bought a frame for my 55 PU complete with a 4.6l engine and trans. The barcode stickers on the valve covers read "2G808AA".
The driver's side head has "50671" etched into it and the passenger side has "30228"
the casting numbers on the head are "RF-F1AE-6090"

The trans has "35" cast into the bell housing and the following on the tag "PKC-E2" ASSY. F2AP-EA SN-0037233

I was told the motor/trans came out of a Linclon Towncar, But I'm not positive. Any help in identifying this combo would be appreciated. Since there are vatious styles of 4.6s from what I've read, I'd like to know if it is worth keeping or if I should stick with my original intent to go with a 351C.

U ever figure it out? I ask because if u go thru all the work of putting in the mod motor and it being for a passenger car and u having a pickup truck. Truck motors are made for trucks to have low end torque to move that heavy vehicle.
