About The 4.6 - 5.4 OHC

Since we're getting one of the two engines (or both) has anyone came across a website or discussion forum that has information on modifying these engines?
Would like to know what performance parts are available for them.

Oh yeah I forgot about them.
Just had a look and I noticed they have 32,950 members , makes Ford Forums look really tiny.
No doubt they've been around for quite some time.

For those who are interested this is from http://www.crownvic.net/

The 4.6L VS the 5.4L engines dimensions are as follows:

Bore X Stroke in inches -
4.6L: 3.552 bore X 3.5433 stroke
5.4L: 3.552 bore X 4.165 stroke

Bore spacing is the same for both engines at 3.9370".

Connecting rod length is as follows expressed in inches.

4.6L: 5.9331"
5.4L: 6.6575"

The 4.6L SOHC engine used in the passenger cars used a nodular crankshaft. All passenger cars (except a few 4.6L WINDSOR Crown Vics from '96-'98) had press fit pistons pins while the the truck engines (WINDSOR) had full floating wrist pins.

The 5.4L crankshafts are forged steel. The story is, the connecting rods were "beefier" on all the 5.4L engines, but I haven't compared any myself.

These guys sell stroker kits etc.
