Yes the BOSS came off the rollers yesterday, at a pleasantly surprising 290rwkw at 8psi of boost pressure, non intercooled, and through a stock exhaust. With the cooler and exhaust sorted in the next couple of weeks it looks like the eight banger could be the 330rwkw wild card. We will see.
Wow thats a more than decent result. Wait untill those guys have sorted it right out and find the engines limitations ( re: boost levels ) and we might be seeing some pretty serious 5.4's out there.
And although it wouldnt match the output of the BOSS , imagine it lurking under the bonet of a stock looking XT
eh? WHATS all this about boost on a 5.4?? have you turboed one or supercharged one? if so, I would have thought that you would have easily gotten 30 kw more than the standard boss engine..
forgive my ignorance on this matter.. i must have lost the plot on this line of events ages ago...
please explain...
