My 94 crown vic his driving me nutts! On cold starts the engine will run rough and backfire thru the intake until it warms up a couple of minutes. It feels like it is down on power slightly even when warm. It is throwing no codes thru the computer. And passes koeo,koer, relay and cylinder balance tests. I pulled the throttle assy off and cleaned the egr passages while I was in there. I replaced the intake air charge and engine temp sensors, they tested good but were cheap enough to replace. The tps and egr sensors also passed all tests. I have sprayed all the vaccum hoses and intake with carb cleaner looking for a leak with no luck. I did get 1 code one day when the engine light came on for about 2 sec. It stated (hego sensor not switching indicating lean on bank 2). Any ideas?

you must be in the states to be driving a Crown Victoria as we don't see them here in Australia. what state are you in?
