Engine Identification

I have a modular motor built on 1-17-95 It has the following numbers on the barcode: 5G814BA REP 10410219 How do I find information about this engine? Is there any way to get the vin from the car it came out of? I was forced to take this engine from a company that already had my money and this motor looked like the best chance to get some of it back. It looks OK from the outside and it is supposed to be out of a Lincoln. Any information would be appreciated.
