Just out of interest, does anyone know if individual throttle bodies (ie individual butterfly for each intake) are available/possible for Mod/Boss engines?

To run a twin TB setup would cost abit, you'd need not just two TB, but I don't know how you would get them to both work in conjunction with the drive-by-wire.

There are numurous versions of twin offset T/bodies in the states that I have seen but nothing that suit the fly by wire.
You could setup a signal splitter/amplifier that could run the second body and disregard the TPS sender on the second one.
A good electronics tech could make a circuit for you.
On the topic of this, I am designing a new manifold at the moment which should cure the problems of the current 260/290 manifold.
Sourcing some of the parts is proving a challenge at the moment but will get there.

forgive my ignorance, but what are the problems with the current intake manifold ?
there is a definate 2 problems that i know of but i dont wish to disclose at the moment to give others an oppertunity to develop before the people that have tested & found the faults

You can buy them from the states ill find some people who make them, they are made for the 4.6L dohc engines but i cant see why they woldnt work with our enignes with a new manifold.

Why couldnt you use aftermarket pedals and a cable throttle setup? A mate of mine is talking about doing this to his XR8 down the track I'll keep you posted if I find out anymore about it.

Are they FAULTS as such? Or poeple are designing/sourcing new manifolds as those are BETTER than the factory ones? Any fault's would be at Ford's discretian to fix.
