Is there a difference between the 95 4.6 used in the Lincolon Mark VIII and the Cobra? I know they are both 4.6 DOHC engines but what I am looking at is are the heads the same and is the intake mounting area the same?
The Lincoln uses a cast iron crank with six flywheel bolts. It also has intake cams with 10 degrees less duration. The Cobra has a Forged crank with eight flywheel bolts. The heads/block is shared by both engines.
