Question Modular engine identification

Does anybody know of any websites where I can get information on how to identify modular motors?
Thanks in advance

Re: Modular engine identification

Thanks JWKO. I had already tried those as well as F150 online, but what I'm trying to find is info on casting numbers and barcodes. I was told the engine was a 4.6l and it looks like the engine in my 98 F-150, but I don't know what year it is, which makes finding an intake manifold problematical. I want to put it in a 55 F-100, but I'm not up to date on Fuel Injection and would like to run a carb. Edelbrock makes an intake that fits 99's andup, but I've been told it won't fit on my engine since the last two letters in the barcode on the valve covers are AA.
