Just thought this would be interesting to some of a guy in the US building a 5.4 litre for his Mustang.

it must all be wrong. According to some on this forum a 5.4 DOHC V8 can't get over 300 Kw ... at the flywheel.

considering they are using cut and shut intake manifolds..when the Boss 260/290 manifolds make it over there they should do even better

Geez, that thread has been going for a bloody long time... Near on exactly a year!
You're right XA, once the get hold of the intake manifolds we'll have they should do better again. Fair amount of HP eh!
