Question Oil Filter for 5.4lit V8

Ok iam going to try one of those magnet things on my oil filter but my cars not here till Wensday.
So can someone tell me if the oil filter on the new 5.4lit V8 is the same size as the old Z9 because the magnets come in two size's.

Thanks

from what i found out at my ford dealer, they are not the same Z9's or AFL1's as the old windsor. The six's still run the Z9 filter. Not sure what filter it is , hope this helps

Here's a magnet shop in Melbourne that does good mail order service. Get a capped ring magnet (metal covered one side), also have have neo magnets as well. All different sizes. And about 3 times cheaper than commercial product.

Good idea to get one on a new car, I can afford a new magnet, not a new car.

Cheers
