330, 360, 390 FE or Y block engines

I own a 1979 ford f 350 uhaul truck that I am trying to get running. Im not sure what type of engine it has, I believe a 330 or 335 or 360. Is there anywhere on the block it confirm what it is and does anybody know where to get parts for them. I live in Phoenix, Az, been combing the local junk yards to find parts. What I really need is the wire harness from the ignition module to the distributor or a wire diagram for this model.

Wow that's pretty cool Uhaul used FE and FT's into the early 80's as Ford searched for a economic 385 series version to replace them. I've seen 330MD, 330HD, 359 and 389's in Uhauls besides 361's and 391's. They were all governed LOL. And I remember putting along in a few myself from time to time while moving. Also try this site.....

Re: 330, 360, 390 FE or Y block engines

77-79 uhaul f350's (TC's) were 330 equipped, 3 speed manual trans with low range was behind it, terrible highway cruisers.they were one ways until 89-90 and stayed in our local fleet until the late 90's, then the 89 f350's(7.3 diesel/C6) which replaced them as one ways took over their local spots and are still with us(sadly). 94-97 f350s are now the primary local with a few one ways, they run 460/E40D combo.few 99's with V10's running around but the new 14' trucks which all f-350s are have been are now replaced by E350's that were built last year and this year, V10 powered.
