i am looking for some pistons for a 400m. it is 30thou over, and is supercharged. i want reasonably low compression, and hyper pistons. i have 302 closed chamber heads, opened up a lot where possible. can i use 351 pistons? do they have a higher or lower pin height compared to a 400? any other advise, as i want to get these as cheap as possible.

351 flat tops fitted to a 400 with the 302 heads will get you just under 12:1 comp.A dish 351 piston might work .
You will need to bush the 400 rods though to the smaller 351 pin size.

CRUSHU F150

is the pin height higher or lower, if it is lower, it will be low comp, if it is higher, they will have to be milled.
