i have only had the can 3weeks and still trying to get the bugs worked out the car runs and drives fine at speed but when i go to take off from a dead stop it is like that you turn the key off and then you i have to fether the gas peddel to geep it going things i have done i have rebuilt the carb 2bbl,and ney fuel pumb because it was leaking,ney dis because the springs were wrong and and a new one was only $40.00 and the vac gauge i put on shows 19 inch steady and the timing is good no pinging when driving and starts right up when hot and it does not over heat eather any help would be great

Sounds like a bad accelerator pump in the carb, but you've rebuilt it. Was it doing this before you rebuilt the carb?

yes it was doing it befor i rebuilt the carb

Sounds almost as if it's flooding. Is the Carb stock and is the float free?

it is a stock carb and the flot is free and set to the speck in the stock rebuild kit
