have a 67 mustang with 428 CJ. engine has 1700 miles since restoration. The previous owner could not tell me anything about the engine so I am going to totally rebuild it the way I want it. I have acquired the parts that I plan to use and I just wanted suggestions as this is my first build. The parts include:

Mass flo fuel injection
Edelbrock performer aluminum heads
Comp roller rocker kit and rocker arm studs
Crane hydraulic roller cam adv duration 282/288, duration at .50 220/226, valve lift .584/.607, lobe separation 110, rpm range 2,500-6,000
valve springs to match cam
Crane hydraulic roller lifters
Summit billet steel double roller timing chain and gear

What kind of torque and power can I expect from this set up? Any suggestions on build are greatly appreciated.

What intake are you using? What pistons and rods are you going to use? Are you using a CJ crank or aftermarket? FE's thrive with oil, have your oil passages drilled out bigger. Some old school things to do...on the main cap bearings cut a hole so that it matches the hole in the block. On my builds I cut a straight line notch in the crank at the main jurnals so that there will be oil already staged for use every time it comes around.
You can also put a restrictor in the head at the rocker oil feeder.
