Distributor Parts ID

Does anyone have a parts book for 1964 that can identify the advance springs inside a distributor?

I have a C4AF-12127-N distributor and am curious what its original application may have been and suffix numbers for the advance springs (12191 and 12192) are.

My parts book only goes back to 1965

Any help is greatly appreciated

Paul

Re: Distributor Parts ID

Hi Paul. 64 390 Galaxie would be the application. Not sure on the advance springs. Ask Tom Cherry (hawkrod) or Tim O'Conner on FE.com. Tim is a master distributor rebuilder/restorer and I'm sure he'd know. Tom is a book of knowledge on all parts he'd know as well. Shoot me a pm with your email. Both guys have websites I can send you.

So how is the Cobra coming along??

Re: Distributor Parts ID

Paul I found the specs and part numbers on everything if you stll need them. I looked them up in my MPC. My parts catalog is 65 and up but has the info as it was still used in 65.

Yes, I am still looking for the info. email address is paul at proefrock.net (hope you don't mind this feeble attempt to foil the webbots that harvest email links on forums)

What page did you find it on? I couldn't find it in my MPC
