I have a D3VE cylinder for a BBF. Put water in the the exhaust valve to see if the valve leaked, and one did. Is that a problem? and do they need a rebuild???
If water can get past it then compressed fuel/air will too, which just means wasted energy for your engine. It could be just a metter of re-seating the valveinto the head, but more likely its time to have it checked out.
