has anyone got any opinions on probe pistons, i was told i was getting je pistons in my stroker kit but ended up with these probe things, i have never even heard of these pistons. what do you mob think????

Probe pistons are made by Ross. If you look under the piston you will see a small machined section about 1/2 " X 1/4". This is where Ross put their brandname and Probe machine it off.
Probe are a good brand, but I'm biased because I own a set!

i got a scat 557 kit from rocket ind. partnumber sc1-95105-1 comes with scat h beam rods 6.700 scat crank 4.500 and "probe" pistons. (it was ment to have je pistons)

How much did the kit cost you ? and do you have to do any machineing to put the 557 stroker kit in?

bout $2800 gotta get the block bored 30 thou and maybe the block decked thats it that i know of

They are a very good piston and lasted very well in harsh testing while being run lean and having the arse thrashed of them.
