How does the 6 speed perform when compared to the older T5 box?
Too many gears ? You have a HUGE amount of torque and rwkws and sometimes less gears is better.
Or is it easier to launch and what gear are you in when you hit the 400?

the t5 dosnt compare to the t56 and dont realy use 6th and the box is not much different in ratio and i am in 4th at the 400m

AHah!! Peter from APS stated that any BA turbo with over 330rwkws, auto OR manual SHOULD do 120mph ET regardless of gear changes and launch...

I think he's full of it, as this clearly proves him wrong...

Yeah Dave, I read that as well.
That means he's infering a manual turbo is just as fast as an auto, which is a turnaround from all I've read in the past.
That's the first I've heard of an APS manual turbo doing anything in the 11s.
Maybe Peter can elaborate.... and was that with a T5?
