does anyone know if i would have a problem having 19x10 or 19x9.5 inch rims all round on my car? i have an xr6 turbo ute. oh hte rolling daimeter is kept the same as factory 17's by some tiny arse rubber so the only prob i see would be with the width any help would be great especially form anyone with xr6t's with wheels similiar in size

The convention for many of us is:
rear 19*9.5 with 275/30 tyres, keeping close to stock overall diameter
front 19*8.5 with 245/35 tyres

With the right offset you could just fit 19*10 rear, but the 275/30 aren't quite right.
I think 19*9.5 on the front would be a problem though; there's little room with the 19*8.5 on the front as it is.

go to your local motor authority website and look at the rules regarding widths. In NSW, no tyres are to be more than 2in wider than the max avilable from factory. Also, overall vehicle track may not increase more than 2in (max allowable without engineers certificate is 1in). Under no circumstances is the wheel to come into contact with any part of the car (thats at ANY steering angle and ANY suspension extension- all the way down or completely bottomed out.)
I imagine most of this will be the same for the ACT...

I have 19 by 9.5 rear rims, wearing a true square 275 tyre. They clear the guards by about 2-3 mm. I'd say you'll struggle with 10 inch wide unless you roll the guards.
