19's on my XR6T - Ford Forums

I am ordering 19's for my XR6T and have been suggested that the correct tyre size is a 245. I thought a 265 was more like it. Does anyine have 19s fitted atm and if so, what tyre size is correct?

19" tyres would be your best bet...

No, seriously, what width are your new rims?
19x8? 19x9?

It all depends on your rim width.
If 245s were suggested, I'd hazard a guess the rims are 19x8.

Thanks. It looks like the rims are available as a 19x8 and a 19x9, so I will probably order 2 of each and throw 265s on the rear and 245s on the front.

I have a GTP and have fitted 19inch rims.
The maximun size tyres for the front are 245/35/19 and the maximum size for the rears is 275/30/19. Any larger and they will foul with the suspension arms and gaurds.
Front rims are 19x8 and the rears are 19x9.
