changing the rods and springs wont increase performance a whole lot but will make the internals and valvetrain more reliable (depending on if there is any issue with the stock components).

the gains would be in the ecu and boost, I would be interested to know if anyone outside of ford has done the testing to see what the break points are ?

I was talking to Simon from Nizpro at the Motorsport expo and he was saying that he wouldnt go past 290-300kw's at the flywheel while keeping the engine internals stock, just for reliabilities sake. But with the additions of stronger rods, valve springs etc more power can be dialled in via the ECU to make the turbo boost more constant throughout the rev range over the stock setup

Hmm...it was a few weeks ago i have forgotten actual figures, but i think the price was around the $4500-5000 mark for around 300kw's with the MOTEC setup and a change in injectors etc...
