I have just acquired a BA XR8 air intake snorkel for a 2nd CAI on my turbo. I saw a thread a while back explaining how to connect it to the standard airbox. Does anyone know how i can do this as i cannot find the thread anymore? Also has anyone fitted a turbo timer to there turbo, I have a Greddy unit and am wondering if ford will mind if I have it installed.

What I did with mine was cut the snorkel right behind the lip , so I had a flat square surface to work with. With the bit you cut off use it as a template to cut out the airbox with. I used a dremel to cut the box out. This worked out the best giving more airflow than making a round adapter. The snorkel should then fit in the hole between the two lips on the snorkel.

Thanks mate some pics would be great aswell. Don't want to stuff my airbox!
