95 Vs 98 Octane Fuel

I know that is is recommended to run the XR Turbos on 95 octane but is it better to run them on 98 Octane.

i use bp 98 ultimate an found it gives better performance and more kms

98 is still not available everywhere, so Ford wouldn’t have it as a requirement. The question is though does the ECU & knock sensor make extra power on 98?
