Sorry Ayman, I have not driven the XR6T...BUT if i were in your shoes I would Buy the XR6T and with the money left over shout myself to a few mods =) It would toast the XR8!!
Don't get me wrong... I love my V8s, but you can't go past forced induction of the barra kind!! =)

I smell
almost everyone working at Ford already testdrove all the new BA range, I got my mate works at ford came back from Melbourne to testdrive the new cars.

Look people, $8000 more for a slim 20KW and a 50NM arrives at 4250, sorry to say this but it feels like an SS! I really hate those rev me up engines! I tried an SS before and didn't like to wait for the engine to reach redline to start pulling, absolutely silly.

I still envy my bother's good old XR8 when it fries the tyres whenever he wants:)

so $8000 extra, wait till Feb, it will lose value faster as for some reason people like 6 more than 8s.

The other thing, I just paid $2600 to fix AC, Radiator early this year, and few other things. So if I get a car under a warranty, I'll be paying a little more a month, but have a brand new XR6 Turbo!you know what i'm trying to say?

So again, does the XR8 pisses over the XR6T or you reckon it's about the same?
and yeah, 1750kg for the XR8, 1670kg for the 6.

I wish I can have something that beats those STIs,haha,

Thanks guys for ur help, I just need a bit more:)cheers

get the turbo! spend bit of money on it, like a bigger exhuast etc, and you guest it more power! The potential of the turbo 6 will be huge!

honestly what else you can do i guess is go for a drive in a turbo car. Something like a TT supra, which weight and power bout the same, the two should be close.

I hear the wait for the XR6T is considerable - about 5 months or so - which is when the XR8 is due out :)

Either way, you're going to have to wait for a bit.

If you really want a Turbo, ring around all the dealers. I am sure you will find one somewhere.

I would get a Automatic as well. When you up the boost, your box will survive.

(oh yeah, you lucky mongral)

XR6T - 5speed manual, premium brake package.

Thats what you want - stuff waiting for the XR8 because the XR6T is the better drive.

Wait till March for the GT. If you really want an XR6, Knox Ford has one in the showroom. Silver, looks very nice. Not sure if its manual or auto or turbo or not.
