I've been a Holden man since i was a kid and currently drive a VS V8 Statesman with all the usual mods, exhaust, rims, dumped, CAI, K&N Filter, Pacemakers etc etc, but earlier this year i was given a brand new XT Falcon auto as a work car. Now i had rarely driven Ford's but my god was i impressed! I thought the Barra engine was great (about time an our 6's got some decent power, i mean a 3.8l V6 commodore engine producing 148kw's ain't cool), the tiptronic auto was wicked and the interior functional.

I am now looking at purchasing an XR6 Turbo sedan and would like to ask all you knowledgable Ford guru's some advice.
1. any real differences between a 2003-2004-2005 XR6 turbo's?
2. Can the auto handle much power without being destroyed?
3. Am interested in one of those CAPA flash tuner's, what are they like? (and again can the auto handle the power increase?)
4. Any thing i should look out for in buying a second hand XR6 Turbo?
5. Am 25 and in Vic, rating 1 driver, any of you Victorians in a similiar boat, if so which insurance agencies do you use?

Know that that is alot to ask for, but i appreciate anyone who replies.
