hey, just wanted to know if anyone has put on the APS cold air intake on there xr6t cause i really can't afford to get the whole stage 1 just yet but i was thinking about just the new intake under the lights.

if you have done it. does it stuck colder air into the turbo or am i just wasting my time and money. i know APS have tested the standed intake and said it was fine for 240kw but my car seems to go better in cold temps and hoping it would lower the temp. open for any suggestions, thanks

I'm not sure of the gain you may get with only the intake, i'm guessing around 10kw's or so. While at APS a while back they showed us this airbox, which looks pretty similar to the mustang airbox out of the XR8/GT's but is of a cast steel construction and draws air in the same way, under the headlight.

Maybe look into the high flow cats and exhaust too, which i believe was sourced from germany to get the highest quality components.

APS only sell full kits they wont seperate individual parts.
