I was thinking of trading my AUII 'S' pak on a 2nd hand Xr6T.

My car has the standard 'S' features such as rear spoiler, 16" alloy wheels, leather wrapped wheel etc, with 56000kms.

The 2002 Xr6T is advertised for $38500 with 24000k's, but is pretty standard, doesn't have the leather trim or premium sound etc.

I was looking around 18000-20000 private sell for mine, what would i get as trade-in.

As a trade in, you are probably looking around $15000 - $16000 at the most.

It's heart breaking but the XR6T is selling so well that they don't have to do any deals.

I would be thinking a much more realistic wholesale price as a trade would be around the 10 - 12g mark maybe less. Sell it privately mate

Privately is definately the way to go. The figures that I quoted are from redbook, which will be the first thing that the dealer would look up.

Privately you will probably get around $17000

Traded my AUII S yesterday (16/6) with 78000+ on it for 16K on a specced up XR6T (Lux pack, 18", etc) ... on a four year old car I thought it was reasonable ...
