apparently the ecu will be able to tell technicians if the boost has been wound up on the turbo or not. So obviously would void warrantly if anything like this was done. Which is weird because gated boost controllers which you buy for $100 dont actually run off the electronic boost controller in the car that is disconnected it just fools the wastegate actuator when to open allowing it to run more boosto.

Interesting. The GoAuto site has got rid of the stuff about the XR8 and replaced it with their 'first drive of the VY' :hrm:

IN TODAYS COURIER

In the motor section of todays Brisbane courier it states that the engines are going to be released tomorrow. Says nothing about XR8 or interiors. This is FOR REAL and i aint telling lies

Yes i noticed that. i think im with the other guys. on this one. its just media hype. them trying to get money back on advertising.
